Most recently Benjamin Hulett has appeared in concert with Philippe Herreweghe, Sir Andrew Davis, Sir Roger Norrington, Christopher Hogwood and Harry Bicket. As a soloist with the Hamburgische Staatsoper his roles have included Oronte (Alcina), Flute (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Jaquino (Fidelio), Arbace (Idomeneo) the Almoner (Dialogues des Carmelites), the Four Servants (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) and Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte) .
He made his debut with the Bavarian State Opera as Oronte (Alcina) and sang Arbace with Europa Galante and Fabio Biondi. Benjamin Hulett returns to the Hamburg Opera for Tamino and Narraboth (Salome), makes his debut at the Theater an der Wien in the world premiere of Johannes Kalitzke's Die Besessenen and his debut at the Salzburg Festival in Elektra. Next season, Benjamin Hulett will sing his first Peter Quint (Turn of the Screw), in a new production for Opera North.
