Born in Venice, scholar of Corrado Romano and Michèle Auclair, Domenico Nordio is known as one of the most important musician of his generation.
Domenico Nordio started his career when he was very young. At 16 He won the International Competition “Viotti” in Vercelli, whose President of the Jury was Yehudi Menuhin.
In 1988, at 17, he won the Eurovision Prize, gaining then immediate glory: he is the first and the only Italian in the history to win this Prize. The Grand Final was in Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and it was broadcasted live all around Europe.
