Past Ji-Yong's orchestral engagements include performances with the American Youth Symphony, Atlantic Classical Orchestra, Bangor Symphony, Cape Cod Symphony, Charlotte Philharmonic, Chicago Sinfonietta, East Texas Symphony, Eastern Connecticut Symphony, Fairfax Symphony, Fox Valley Symphony, Great Falls Symphony, Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra, Nashua Symphony, New Haven Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, New York Sinfonietta, Northwest Sinfonietta, Peoria Symphony, Santa Fe Pro Musica, Santa Rosa Symphony and South Carolina Philharmonic. Ji-Yong has also made numerous recital appearances including in Aspen, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Laramie (WY), Memphis, Baton Rouge (LA), Stuart (FL), Miami and New York.
His recital at William Jewell College in Kansas City was deemed as one of the top five arts events of the city in 2004 by the Kansas City Star: "Ji-Yong proceeded to play the most beautiful recital I've heard this year . . . His playing has its own personality and character. It has a point of view that is distinctly his, and that is fresh." Highlights of Ji-Yong's 2007-08 season include performances with the Toronto Symphony and Peter Oundjian, Nashville Symphony with Joel Levine, Cascade Festival of Music under Murry Sidlin's baton, and his debut on the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival's Rising Stars series.
He also appears with the Bay Atlantic Symphony, Canton Symphony and Queens Symphony, and plays recitals in the Florida Keys.
