Lynn Harrell has been engaged and reengaged as soloist with the top world orchestras including Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, and the National Symphony in the USA, and with the orchestras of London, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Zurich, Amsterdam in Europe.
In the summer of 1999 Lynn Harrell was featured in the “Lynn Harrell Cello Festival” with the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
Lynn Harrell frequently collaborates with James Levine, Sir Neville Marriner, Kurt Masur, Zubin Mehta, André Previn, Sir Simon Rattle, Leonard Slatkin, Yuri Temirkanov, Michael Tilson Thomas and David Zinman.
In recent seasons Lynn Harrell performed with violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and pianist André Previn appearing with the New York Philharmonic in the Beethoven's Triple Concerto with Maestro Masur.
