Maxim Mironov: A master of the leggiero tenor repertoire, Maxim is well aquainted with roles such as Don Ramiro in 'La Cenerentola', Count Libenskoff in 'Il Viaggio a Reims, Lindoro in 'Italiana in Algeri', Narciso in 'Il Turco in Italia' and Almaviva in 'Il Barbiere di Siviglia'. He has appeared in these roles as well as others, in such celebrated settings as the Theatre des Champs Elysées with the Orchestre de Paris, the Hamburgische Staatsoper, the Aix en Provence Festival, Glyndebourne Festival, the Teatro Communale Bologna, the Toulon Opera, the Teatro San Carlo Napoli and Opera Las Palmas.
Recent engagements include Count Libenskoff in a production of 'Il Viaggio a Reims' at the Japan Opera Foundation, conducted by Alberto Zedda, as well as at the Teatro Arriaga Bilba and at Santander. In addition he recently sang Rossini's 'Stabat Mater' with the Haydn Orchestra, again with Zedda, as well as giving solo recitals at the Frankfurt Opera and St. Johns Smith Square, London.
'Italiana in Algeri' features highly in his schedule, and at a number of venues including Opera Las Palmas, Asociacion de amigos de la opera de Mahon and at the Teatro Real Madrid.
Furthermore his plans involve Rossini's 'Otello' at the Lausanne Opera, 'Castor et Pollux' at the Theatre an der Wien, 'La Cenerentola' at the Hamburgische Staatsoper and at the Bastille.
In addition the Vlaamse Opera recently saw him make his debut performance in 'Cosi fan tutte' a role he sung again at the Teatro Massimo Palermo. He will also be returning to the Vlaamse Opera for Belmonte in Mozart's 'Die Entführung aus dem Serail'.
