In 2006, Ronan Collett was awarded the Priz Thierry Mermod at the Verbier Academy and a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. He also joined the BBC’s New Generation Artists Scheme. Last year, Ronan made his Australian debut, singing Britten’s 'War Requiem’ at the Perth International Festival and Sydney Opera House.
His 2007 recital engagements also included the Mozart in the Marches, Leeds Lieder and Cheltenham Festivals. He has performed Count Almaviva in 'Le Nozze di Figaro’ with the Classical Opera Company and made his ENO debut, as Morales in 'Carmen’.Concert performances include Beethoven’s Mass in C with the Manchester Camerata, Purcell’s 'Dido and Aeneas’ at the Wigmore Hall with the Gabrieli Consort and Beethoven's 'An die ferne Geliebte' at the Berlin Philharmonie with Mitsuko Uchida.
