About

Susana Gaspar, a young and gifted Portuguese soprano, studied at the Lisbon Music Conservatory, the Guildhall Scool of Music and Drama (MMus) and at the National Opera Studio. She currently studies with Susan Waters. 

Competition prizes include the Basil Turner prize (BYO) and first prize (Lieder), Portuguese Song prize and Algarve Musical Award in the Rotary Club Singing Competition. She was a finalist in the Richard Tauber Competition at Wigmore Hall and the GSMD Gold Medal Singing Competition.
