Danish conductor Thomas Søndergård is one of the best Scandanavian conductors to have emerged in recent years. He became Principal Conductor and Musical Adviser of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra in 2009. Last season he made critically-acclaimed débuts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
