Roussev Salque Rozanova Trio
- Piano Trio
Roussev Salque Rozanova Trio: Elena Rozanova formed the Rachmaninov Piano Trio (now Roussev / Salque / Rozanova Trio) in 1998 with Svetlin Roussev and Andrej Melik to enter the prestigious Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition in 1999. It was a wise move : they carried off the prize for the best contemporary music performance. The Trio had already made a strong impression on several European festival directors during the preliminary round in Paris. They went on to perform in several chamber music series including the Midis Musicaux at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris , and following a concert at the La Roque d'Anthéron Piano Festival in August 2003, l'Humanité wrote "with this trio on the scene the Wanderers and the Guarneris had better watch out!" In January 2005 the cellist François Salque joindre Elena Rozanova and Svetlin Roussev, Andrej Melik becoming too busy with his chamber music career in Germany.
Le Trio now performs under then name Roussev / Salque / Rozanova Trio. A memorable and premonitory concert of the Rachmaninov Trio with François Salque took place in December 2003 at the Théâtre de Narbonne.
