Biography
Aage Kvalbein: Tours in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, England, Scotland, Ireland, France Spain, Italy, Switzerland. Austria, Jugoslavia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Israel, Soviet, USA, Mexico, Guatemala, China, Phillipines, Hong KOng, Singapore, Korea Prizes Debutant prize, Folkwang prize.
Winner of international competitions in Helsinki and Munich 1976. The Norwegian music Critics' Award, Grieg Prize, twice the Norwegian "Grammy" Award. Activities Solo cellist Oslo Symphony orchestra 77/78. Member of Oslo Trio from 1974 Now professor at the Norwegian State Academy of Music.
