Dale Duesing began his musical studies in Milwaukee as a pianist. At Lawrence University in Wisconsin he switched from piano to voice and has subsequently pursued a major international vocal career. He has appeared as soloist with some of the world's greatest orchestras, including the New York and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras, the Chicago and Boston Symphony Orchestras, the Concertgebouw, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Santa Cecilia of Rome with conductors that include Giulini, Levine, Haitink, Leppard, Ozawa, Sawallisch, von Dohnanyi, Rattle and Previn.
