Biography

Henning Brockhaus: „Oftentimes, I am thrilled at the way hobby musicians are making music with virtuosity. - But sometimes it makes me sad when I see talents go to waste.“ Henning Brockhaus is the founder of the Bottega Musicale. The internationally renowned director studied under Prof. Jost Michaels at the Nordwestdeutsche Musikakademie, followed by studies of Philosophy, Dramatics and Musicology at the Freie Universität Berlin. He is one of the most significant contemporary theater and opera directors at the large theaters of the world. He currently lectures at the University and at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Macerata.
