Biography

With an extensive repertoire Janine Jansen performs with the world most prestigious orchestras including the Berliner Philharmoniker, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Orchestre de Paris, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and the top London and American orchestras.

A versatile artist, Janine Jansen is also a devoted performer of chamber music, and curates the annual International Chamber Music Festival in her home town of Utrecht. Exciting current projects include curating her own “Carte Blanche” series at the Concertgebouw throughout the 2009/10 season.
