Biography

Leah Partridge opened the 2008–2009 season at Deutsche Oper Berlin singing Gilda in Rigoletto. She traveled to Washington, DC, to sing the title role in Maria Padilla with Washington Concert Opera followed by a return to the Metropolitan Opera where she was heard as La Charmeuse in Thaïs. She returned to Florida Grand Opera in the title role of Lakmé as well as a Superstar Series concert with Marcello Giordani. She finished the season with performances of Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Opera North.

In the 2007-08 season Leah Partridge made her Metropolitan Opera debut singing the First Niece in a new production of Britten’s Peter Grimes. Ms. Partridge returned to Detroit to sing Roxane in the world premiere of David DiChiera’s Cyrano with Michigan Opera Theatre and appeared in concert with the Macon Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring Barber's Knoxville Summer of 1915 and a selection of operatic arias. She also performed Mahler's Symphony No. 4 with the Augusta Symphony Orchestra. After celebrated performances of Amina in Bellini’s La Sonnambula in the 2006-07 season, Ms. Partridge returned to Florida Grand Opera as Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare. She concluded the season with a concert in Dresden.
