Biography

Despite his relative youth Markus Werba has already established a remarkable career and is now regarded as one of the leading baritones of his generation. He has a wide range of repertoire from the complete Mozart/Da Ponte operas to Mahler and Schumann which he recites at prestigious venues all over the globe including Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera New York, LA Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Suntory Hall Japan and Salzburg and Baden-Baden Festivals.
