Mona Asuka Ott is the winner of the 2011 Sommets Musicaux Festival Prize and the audience prize at the 2006 Bad Kissingen Piano Olympics. This season sees Mona Asuka Ott return to the Münchner Symphoniker at the Philharmonie im Gasteig and perform the solo part in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy at the Weimar New Year’s Concert with the Staatskapelle Weimar and Stefan Soyom. Later this season she will perform with the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn and Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra and gives her Zurich debut at the city's Tonhalle in November 2012.
