Peter Cropper is one of the UK’s most influential and innovative musicians. As leader of the internationally renowned Lindsay String Quartet for over 40 years, he has performed at the world’s leading chamber music centres and festivals, earning particular praise for his interpretation of the works of composers such as Haydn, Mozart Beethoven, Schubert and Tippet. He has won accolades from the Royal Philharmonic Society, a 2000 “Creative Britons” award, and the 2005 Cobbett Medal from the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
